L'Jarius Sneed Suffers Hip Pointer In Week 17
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (hip), who left the Week 17 game against the division-rival Denver Broncos on Sunday, suffered a hip-pointer injury that is considered minor, according to a source. Sneed is considered day-to-day for now. The 25-year-old picked up the injury after intercepting quarterback Russell Wilson, but he later returned to the game. In his third NFL season, he has a career-high 104 tackles (73 solo), five tackles for loss, five QB hits, 3.5 sacks, three interceptions, 11 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 starts, good enough for No. 2 overall in fantasy points among defensive backs in IDP leagues. It remains to be seen if the Chiefs will rest Sneed in the Week 18 regular season finale, but he should be good to go for the playoffs.
