A.J. Brown Limited With Knee Issue

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a knee issue that he picked up in the Week 16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Despite the knee injury last week, Brown played 92 percent of the offensive snaps and finished with six catches on eight targets for 103 yards in backup quarterback Gardner Minshew's first start. Minshew seemed to prefer wideout DeVonta Smith as his top target, but Brown still managed eight targets and has now gone over 100 yards receiving in three of the last four games. The 25-year-old is also one TD shy of his career-high of 11 set back in 2020 with the Tennessee Titans. Barring a setback, Brown should play in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints, where he'll be a must-start WR1 in fantasy.

A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith Practice In Full On Friday

Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers A.J. Brown (ankle) and DeVonta Smith (knee) were both full participants in practice on Friday and have been cleared to play in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. It didn't seem that either was in danger of missing Sunday's contest, but it is great to hear that both were able to get in a full practice. Despite a difficult matchup, Brown and Smith should remain in starting fantasy lineups as more targets should be available with Dallas Goedert (shoulder) on injured reserve.

A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith Limited Thursday

Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers A.J. Brown (ankle, rest) and DeVonta Smith (knee) were both limited in practice again on Thursday. Brown rolled his ankle in Monday's loss to the Washington Commanders. He remained in the game but finished with just one catch for seven yards. Smith had only 39 receiving yards on six catches (eight targets), but he did find the end zone for the third time this year. Both players should be fine to play in Week 11 against a tough Indianapolis Colts defense, but they should both be locked into all starting fantasy lineups as the Eagles look to bounce back after their first loss of the season. With tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) on Injured Reserve, both Brown and Smith should see more looks as well.

A.J. Brown Says He'll Be Fine For Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (ankle), who rolled his ankle early in the Monday night loss to the Washington Commanders, said on Wednesday that he'll be fine. Brown had his ankle wrapped at practice on Wednesday (he was limited) but will be good to go in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. The 25-year-old didn't look quite right after tweaking his ankle on Monday, but he still played 81 percent of the offensive snaps while disappointing with just one catch for seven yards on four targets in the team's first loss of 2022. Brown's ankle is worth watching, but as long as he's active, he's a must-start in Philly's high-octane offense, especially with tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) on Injured Reserve.

A.J. Brown Has Allergic Reaction To Bee Sting On Friday

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (allergic reaction) was stung by a bee prior to Friday's practice. As a result, the wideout, who has been allergic most of his life, needed an EpiPen. While the 25-year-old did have some trouble breathing, he is expected to be ready to roll for the season opener against the Detroit Lions. With that said, unless something changes before then from a health standpoint, Brown should remain a must-start in all formats.
