Packers Release Danny Etling
The Green Bay Packers released quarterback Danny Etling on Tuesday, according to a source. Etling threw for 220 yards and a touchdown in preseason action this summer, but Green Bay will go with Jordan Love as the only other signal-caller on the active roster behind future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. Etling was drafted in the seventh round in 2018 by the New England Patriots, but he has yet to play in a regular season game in the NFL. The 28-year-old will be looking to latch onto another team's practice squad for the 2022 campaign.
