Jourdan Lewis Done For The Season
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis (foot) had a game-changing interception late in the Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, but he also suffered a season-ending foot injury after tests revealed a Lisfranc injury. Lewis had surgery and will be placed on Injured Reserve. The interception was his first of the year and led to a Cowboys score. The 27-year-old is one of the more experienced slot corners on the team, so this is a blow to Dallas' secondary the rest of the way. With Lewis done for the year, rookie DaRon Bland will likely move into the slot, but Kelvin Joseph and Nahshon Wright could also be asked to step into the slot position.
