Cooper Kupp On Schedule In His Recovery
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) said he's on track in his rehab after having tightrope surgery for a high-ankle sprain that he suffered in mid-November that ended his season early. "I think the trainers all feel good about where we're at," Kupp said. "I feel like we're making good time on things, and at the end of the day, I just want to be able to get to that place here so that I can get back to training and doing the football stuff again that I love." After leading the league in receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns in 2021, Kupp played in only nine games in 2022 and finished with 75 catches for 812 yards and six touchdowns. If fully healthy in 2023, he should continue to be a target hog with quarterback Matthew Stafford sticking around, but head coach Sean McVay's potential departure could be concerning for LA's offense overall.
