  Jayron Kearse To Miss A Few Weeks

  Dallas Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse (knee) added to the doomsday for the team Sunday night, suffering a sprained MCL. He'll be out between two and four weeks. The Cowboys defense looked strong at points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and should still be considered in favorable matchups moving forward. However, with a matchup against the Bengals in Week 2 on the horizon, consider the Dallas unit a boom-or-bust defensive unit in fantasy. Quarterback Joe Burrow turned the ball over five times last week, but Cincinnati can score in bunches. Kearse should de stashed in an IR spot in deeper IDP formats until he returns.

  Jayron Kearse Questionable To Return Against Bucs

  Dallas Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse (knee) is listed as questionable to return on Sunday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to the team. Kearse injured his left knee in the third quarter, but he was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. With the game already in the fourth quarter, there's a good chance that the 28-year-old won't make it back in this one with the Cowboys down 19-3. Before leaving the game, Kearse had four tackles (three solo). In his first year in Dallas in 2021, Kearse had a career-high 101 tackles (67 solo), nine tackles for loss, six QB hits, one sack and two interceptions, putting him on the fantasy radar in IDP leagues.
