  Mike White, C.J. Uzomah Ruled Out Against Dolphins

  New York Jets quarterback Mike White (ribs) and tight end C.J. Uzomah (ankle) have both officially been ruled out for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins. White is dealing with five fractured ribs after getting beat up again in the Week 17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, so he'll finish the year on the bench. Veteran Joe Flacco will get the start, with Zach Wilson backing him up. In a meaningless game for Gang Green, Flacco will be a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers. Uzomah did very little in his first year in New York, catching 21 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns while working behind Tyler Conklin all year.

  Corey Davis, C.J. Uzomah Active Against Bengals

  New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) and tight end C.J. Uzomah (hamstring) are both officially active for Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals after they both came into the game with questionable tags. Davis caught only two passes in last week's comeback victory over the Cleveland Browns, but he went for 83 yards and his first touchdown of the year. He has eight receptions on 14 targets for 160 yards and the one score with quarterback Joe Flacco this year. Treat Davis as a WR4/flex in what could be a positive game script for the Jets passing offense yet again. Uzomah missed the Week 2 win, but he'll return on Sunday and should take a back seat to Tyler Conklin in this one.

  C.J. Uzomah Now Doubtful

  New York Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah (hamstring) is doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Browns. He had been declared a game-time decision. However, it now appears he won't be out there for Week 2 after not practicing on Friday. Nevertheless, Tyler Conklin may see more targets if Uzomah is ruled out officially, so he has streaming potential for managers in deep formats looking to fill a void.

  C.J. Uzomah To Be Game-Time Decision

  New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that tight end C.J. Uzomah (hamstring) will be a game-time decision in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. Uzomah practiced in full on Wednesday but then was downgraded to a limited practice participant on Thursday. Expect the 29-year-old to officially be listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report. Uzomah was not targeted at all in the team's season-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens, while Tyler Conklin played 91.7 percent of the offensive snaps and caught four of his seven targets for 16 yards and a touchdowns. Even if Uzomah is active this weekend, expect Conklin to operate as the Jets' No. 1 pass-catcher at the position.
