Cardinals Sign Markus Golden To One-Year Extension
Arizona Cardinals linebacker Markus Golden has signed a one-year extension worth up to $6.5 million dollars that will keep him under contract through the 2023 season. With the loss of Chandler Jones in the offseason, the Cardinals will rely heavily on Golden, who finished with 11 sacks and 48 tackles (33 solo) last season. The 31-year-old will look to be a big part of slowing down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' high-powered offense in Week 1, as the Cardinals will need all they can get out of their playmakers on defense in this one.
