Robert Quinn Going On Injured Reserve

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Robert Quinn (knee) is undergoing a knee scope this week and will go on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, according to sources. It's bad timing, as Quinn had been settling into the Eagles' defensive scheme before his knee got twisted in practice last week. He'll miss at least the next four games, but there's optimism he'll return for a playoff push. The 32-year-old joined Philadelphia at the end of October after starting the year with the Chicago Bears, and he had only two solo tackles and two QB hits in his first five games for the Eagles while playing no more than 27 percent of the defensive snaps. With Quinn out, Ndamukong Suh, Linval Joseph and Milton Williams should see more rotational snaps along the defensive line.

Robert Quinn Inactive In Week 13

Philadelphia Eagles pass-rusher Robert Quinn (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. The 32-year-old racked up 10 tackles and one sack over the first 12 games and will now miss his first contest of the year. Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph should provide reinforcements on the defensive line in his absence.

Eagles Acquire Robert Quinn From Bears

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired defensive end Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears on Wednesday in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2023, according to a source. Quinn had only one sack in seven games for the Bears this year, but the 32-year-old put up 18.5 sacks in 2021 and will bring plenty of pass-rushing experience to an already strong Eagles defense. Quinn will help replace Derek Barnett (knee), who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the season opener. The Bears are paying $7.1 million of Quinn's remaining base salary this year as part of the deal. Despite acquiring Quinn, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, A.J. Brown and Jordan Davis within the last year, the Eagles still have six picks in next year's draft, including two in the first round.
