Andy Dalton Will Start Against Falcons
New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton will remain the team's starter for the Week 15 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the Saints' offense sputtering, head coach Dennis Allen is sticking with Dalton rather than opting to start Jameis Winston. Dalton has upside in Week 15 since he's facing one of the worst defenses in the league, but he has posted dud performances in plenty of favorable matchups this season. That said, he's a boom-or-bust streamer. There are not quarterbacks on a bye this week, so hopefully, there aren't a ton of fantasy managers who will have to rely on him in the first round of the fantasy football playoffs.

Saints Sticking With Andy Dalton At QB
New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen said that the team will stick with Andy Dalton as the starting quarterback in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. Allen said the team evaluated the position this week and discussed it with both Dalton and Jameis Winston. Dalton has been the starter since Week 4 with Winston dealing with ankle and back injuries, so it's possible the decision was made this week because Winston isn't healthy enough to return. The Saints are 2-5 with Dalton under center, and he looked bad in the Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing for 174 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. The 35-year-old Red Rifle can't be trusted as anything more than a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues this Sunday against the Rams.

Jameis Winston To Take Over For Andy Dalton?
New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen said he has not made a decision at quarterback yet for Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams, but it sounds as though Jameis Winston (ankle, back) is a possibility to take over for the struggling Andy Dalton. Allen said he'll sit down and visit with Winston and talk with the medical staff, but the Saints have to do what gives the team the best chance to win. Dalton has started for the team since Week 4 and has just two wins while completing 65 percent of his 217 pass attempts for 1,559 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Red Rifle went just 17-for-27 for 174 yards, one TD and two picks in the Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dalton has been under 200 yards passing in three of his seven starts. Winston may not be a huge upgrade under center for New Orleans, but it sounds like they might be ready to make a chance if Winston is healthy.

Andy Dalton To Make Fifth Straight Start In Week 8
New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton will make his fifth straight start in the Week 8 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to head coach Dennis Allen. Jameis Winston (ankle, back) hasn't played since Week 3 and entered the week still not 100 percent healthy, so the Saints won't rush him back. Dalton hasn't really done a whole lot to hold off Winston, and he threw two pick-sixes in last Thursday's blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals. In his four starts, the Red Rifle has gone 83-for-131 (63.4 completion percentage) for 946 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions while taking four sacks. Dalton might be the best option for the Saints offense right now, but he's nothing more than a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues in his fifth start this weekend.

Andy Dalton Starting On Thursday Night
New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton is starting on Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source. Jameis Winston will be active as the No. 3 quarterback for the Saints to kick off Week 7 action. All signs had been pointing toward Dalton getting the start over Winston with both QBs being taken off the final injury report on Wednesday. Dalton will have rookie first-round receiver Chris Olave as his top aerial target, but Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) will miss another game. The 34-year-old veteran has been under 200 yards passing in two of his three starts so far this year and has three touchdowns and one interception. Dalton is nothing more than a low-end, low-upside QB2 in superflex formats.

"Signs Are Pointing" Towards Andy Dalton Starting Thursday
New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton (back) will likely make his fourth consecutive start against the Arizona Cardinals Thursday night. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Saints haven't revealed their starting quarterback, but "all signs are pointing" towards Dalton getting his fourth consecutive start against the Cardinals. The 35-year-old has been solid over his last three starts, throwing for 583 yards and three touchdowns during that span. Dalton will be without offensive weapons Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) for Thursday night, making the red rifle mainly an option in superflex leagues.

Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton Avoid Injury Designations
New Orleans Saints quarterbacks Jameis Winston (back/ankle) and Andy Dalton (back) will both be available for the team's Week 7 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Although Winston was active for Week 6, Dalton has started the past three games and head coach Dennis Allen has declined to name the QB1 for Thursday night. Either would project as a low-end fantasy QB2 against a vulnerable Arizona pass defense, and offensive weapons Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave should be started in all formats regardless of who is under center.

Andy Dalton, Jameis Winston Limited Monday
New Orleans Saints quarterbacks Andy Dalton (back) and Jameis Winston (ankle, back) were both listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report. It doesn't sound like Dalton's injury is serious, but it's worth keeping an eye on ahead of Thursday night's contest against the Arizona Cardinals. Winston was active in the Week 6 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he's not yet 100 percent and is likely to serve as Dalton's backup yet again this week if both players are active. Dalton went 17-for-32 for just 162 yards and a touchdown on Sunday in his third straight start for the Saints. If he gets his fourth straight start on Thursday Night Football, he'll continue to serve as a low-end QB2 with a low ceiling for fantasy managers in superflex formats.

Andy Dalton To Start In Week 6
New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton will get his second straight start for New Orleans while Jameis Winston (back) continues to try to heal up. Dalton is a serviceable start in the NFL, but his fantasy prospects are limited against a strong Cincinnati Bengals defense. Michael Thomas (foot) has already been ruled out and Chris Olave (concussion) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) could miss the game, too. Only start Dalton in deep superflex leagues if there aren't better options available.

Andy Dalton To Make Another Start, Jameis Winston Out Again
New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen announced that backup quarterback Andy Dalton will make his second straight start in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks with Jameis Winston (ankle, back) set to miss his second straight game. Winston is dealing with four small fractures in his back and an ankle injury, and he didn't practice at all this week. There's a chance he could be out again in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dalton will be operating without receiver Michael Thomas (foot) for the second straight week as well. The Red Rifle went 20-for-28 with 236 yards, a touchdown and a lost fumble in last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London. He'll have an easier matchup against Seattle, but Dalton will be nothing more than a low-upside, low-end QB2.
