“You F**ked Your Fighter Over”- Brendan Schaub Blasts Dana White for Stating That Aljamain Sterling Lost the Fight at UFC 273

After almost a year of waiting and relentless taunts, Aljamain Sterling finally got the chance to silence his doubters at UFC 273. Sterling’s rematch with Petr Yan was rescheduled after ‘Funkmaster’ had to undergo surgery for his neck. There were a lot of doubts about Sterling’s legitimacy as a champion and at UFC 273, he proved that he is the undisputed bantamweight champion in the UFC.

However, not everyone agreed with the judge’s scorecards on the night. UFC President Dana White was one such individual who felt that the judges got the scorecards wrong. In the post-fight press conference, White echoed his sentiments in front of the media.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Brendan Schaub lambasted White for his recent comments against his champion. He said, “When you’re the president of the UFC, you have a responsibility. So, when you say the judges got it wrong on that one, well now you f*cked Aljamain Sterling over. Now you f*cked him. Because he beat the naysayers. He beat the haters. He shut everybody up.”

Schaub continued, “But now it resurfaces because the most powerful man in the UFC says he didn’t win that fight, which you don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re wrong, dude. And you f*cked your fighter over. Now he has to go back to the drawing board. He has to deal with more of this stupid f*cking hate. And why? Because he won three out of five? … Now you f*ck up the stock of Aljamain Sterling and you’re wrong, dude.”

Dana White unfair in his criticism of Aljamain Sterling?

Dana White was quick to dismiss Sterling’s win over Yan. The UFC head honcho never holds back his words and is always upfront about what is on his mind. In this instance, perhaps it was a bit uncalled for given that Sterling is already receiving a lot of hate.

White stating that he does not think Sterling won the fight only further adds fuel to the fire. What did you make of the fight? Do you think Sterling won the fight? Let us know in the comments below!
