Superstar Rhea Ripley of WWE appeared at WrestleMania 40 sporting an entirely new appearance.
At Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 27-year-old Ripley upset Becky Lynch to keep her Women’s World Championship.
And the Australian grappler’s new hairstyle astounded both the live audience and the millions of viewers at home.
Since joining the wrestling giants in 2017 and signing with NXT UK, the two-time women’s champion has always performed with short hair.

But Ripley tried something quite different at WrestleMania, with dark extensions that gave her hair an atypically long appearance.
Mami added some war paint and some eye contact to go along with the new look.
Since joining Judgment Day in 2022, the former NXT Women’s Champion has ascended to the highest levels of the WWE.
Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and WWE Hall of Fame Edge were among the people Ripley teamed up with until he was fired from the squad.

Soon after, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio joined to further help the gang rule Monday Night RAW.
Before defeating Charlotte Flair to capture the championship at WrestleMania 39, Ripley went on to win the Women’s Royal Rumble Match in 2023.
