Wrestling Stars Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo Became Parents Of A Baby Girl. Know The Details
After the birth of their daughter Luna Melo, AEW stars Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo became a trio.
Guevara added that after more than twenty-four hours of labor, the couple’s “life is complete” with the arrival of their daughter on November 28.
For the professional wrestlers who began dating in January 2022, got married in barely seven months, and are now parents, it has been a fast-paced courtship.

Soon after Guevara’s breakup with his fiancée Pam Nizio, the couple—who were AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions—began dating under contentious circumstances.
Before an AEW Dynamite episode aired in August of that year, Guevara, who had been with Nizio for eight years, proposed to his high school girlfriend.
Melo and Guevara faced a lot of criticism on social media when they first started dating since there were a lot of unfounded rumors about how they met.

“At the end of 2021, there was all that drama with me and Sammy,” stated Melo during a conversation with Denise Salcedo.
“I was super upset because that was the best year of my career.”
It devastated Melo, who has over a million followers on social media, to hear rumors that she was seeing Guevara when he was engaged to Nizio.

Melo acknowledged that she began to experience mental health issues as a result of the hostility.
“I got really bad in here [points to her head], my mental health was not doing OK,” she added.
“After a couple days, a couple weeks it was like, ‘Well this is my job, this is the life that I chose to do so I need to deal with the consequences and then try to do my best’.”
Melo claimed that the depth of her bond with Guevara allowed her to get through the ordeal.

“Sammy and I were meant to be, it’s crazy,” she said.
“He’s really my best friend like before our relationship, we were really good friends.
“I cried so much with him. I think that’s how we became this force together.”

Two months later, in a sumptuous ceremony held in Orlando, Florida, the couple tied the knot after becoming engaged on a trip to Paris in June 2022.
AEW’s Double or Nothing 2023 in May was the moment the pair made a stunning announcement about their pregnancy.
Holding a succession of posterboards that read, “It’s time for the big match,” “but first…”, “we have big news to share,” and “we are having a baby,” the pair came out onto the stage together.

Melo’s pregnancy and Guevara’s concussion have kept them both out of AEW programming in recent months.
