Selection Sunday is the first event of the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, the March Madness taking place on March 17 and followed by the First Four games on March 20.

The dates and venues for Women’s March Madness are shown below. The championship game will take place on April 7 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
The 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament will include 32 teams with automatic bids, and this weekend will see the determination of some of those bids for the major conferences. Before Monday’s action, eight bids, including the majority of the big conferences, were decided.
