WNBA Watch Caitlin Clark Chase Scoring Record: Iowa Vs Michigan Cheapest Tickets

It appeared for a moment that the career scoring record for NCAA women’s basketball may be broken over the weekend. Superstar Caitlin Clark of Iowa, who was 38 points shy of matching Kelsey Plum’s lifetime scoring record going into the Hawkeyes’ last game against Nebraska, scored 31 points in the first three quarters of a close Big Ten road game.

The record will have to wait until Thursday because the fourth quarter ended without a point.

At Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Thursday, Clark and the Hawkeyes will play Michigan, and it shouldn’t take long for the West Des Moines native to create history. In her 125 college basketball games, she has never scored fewer than eight points, and she is just eight points away from holding the record by herself.

Tickets are currently sold out for months, but there are still ways to get a seat. Warning: It’ll cost you.

Why does Caitlin Clark wear 22?

She replaced former Iowa standout Kathleen Doyle, who was selected in the 2020 Indiana Fever draft. “I didn’t get to wear (22) in high school because Dowling always wore odd numbers,” Clark said. “My birthday is January 22, so 22 is my number.”

Will Caitlin Clark break the scoring record?

Before she knew it, Kelsey Plum had tweeted her congratulations to Caitlin Clark for smashing her own record for the most points scored by a female NCAA player.

When did Caitlin Clark do the hand gesture?

I live in a ghetto too. All year long, you guys told me that. But you guys don’t say anything when others do it,” she continued, alluding to Clark’s March 26 gesture against Louisville.
