Will Rob Gronkowski make the Hall of Fame?

Rob Gronkowski‘s career isn’t officially finished, even though his best friend and quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement a week ago. The legendary tight end not only is still an active player but there’s also a preferred destination for him, as he recently said he would love to play with Joe Burrow in the Cincinnati Bengals.

When Gronkowski‘s career is finished, will the tight end make it to the Hall of Fame? The answer is a definite yes, whatever happens from here on now.

The New England Patriots took a gamble on Gronkowski in 2010 after he missed his junior season due to back surgery and they couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. He helped the team win three Super Bowls in the space of five years.

When Gronkowski first retired, he had already decimated several NFL records, such as the most touchdowns in a single season by a tight end (17). Gronk is a four-time First-Team All-Pro and a four-time Super Bowl champion. He was the most dominant player on the field almost every time as his athleticism and his technique both blocking and receiving made him almost unstoppable.

Brady’s favorite receiver over the last decade, he even moved on with his beloved quarterback to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, leaving retirement behind. It took him a while to get back to the speed of the game, but he was nearly unstoppable again after a couple of months, even scoring twice at Super Bowl LV as the Buccaneers trashed the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.
Gronkowski not only will make the Hall of Fame but he will be a 1st ballot player. He’s the best player ever in the position and he holds basically every single record there is. Seriously, it’s impossible not to consider Gronk as the best tight end ever. His place in Canton is cemented and he’s all but officially voted.
