Along with her 310,000 Instagram followers, Smith, a student at Southern Connecticut State University, has 2 million TikTok followers.

Given that Smith participates at a Division Two institution whereas Dunne represents SEC powerhouse LSU, which placed fourth in the NCAA Championships, Smith’s ascent is highly amazing.

However, Smith’s writing has nevertheless connected with readers—so much so that she even charged Olivia with plagiarism.

Everything started after Dunne posted a video of herself doing a backflip on the beach earlier this week with the caption: “Beachnastics for the win:).”

Sydney didn’t like this, so on July 26 he did the same flip and captioned it, “#beachgymnastics in France.”

Sydney Smith had a strong message for Dunne as a result, saying in another video, “This is like the second, third time you’ve copied me.
