Why Did Jets’ QB Aaron Rodgers Call Taylor Swifts’ Rumored Boyfriend Travis Kelce ‘Mr Pfizer’?

Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs has become the focus of the NFL because to Taylor Swift, but Aaron Rodgers seemed to know him for a different reason, as the four-time MVP referred to Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer.”

Why Did Jets’ QB Aaron Rodgers Called Travis Kelce ‘Mr Pfizer’?

The New York Jets quarterback was spotted conversing with Patrick Mahomes and Kelce on the sideline ahead to Kansas City’s triumph over the Jets on Sunday while he rehabbed from a ruptured Achilles. Rodgers was asked about his team’s performance in the three-point defeat during his weekly visit on “The Pat McAfee Show,” and that’s when he appeared to take a covert swipe at Kelce.

“There’s some sentiment that there’s some sort of moral victory out there, that we hung with the champs,” Rodgers said. “Our defense played well and Pat didn’t have a crazy game and Mr. Pfizer, we kind of shut him down a little bit.”

McAfee and former Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk, one of the show’s co-hosts and a former teammate of Rodgers’, chuckled as the four-time MVP struggled to conclude his views on the game with a straight face.

Kelce recently collaborated with the pharmaceutical behemoth to advertise its COVID-19 and flu vaccinations in commercials seen by Rodgers and many others.

NFL fans were outraged to see Kelce targeted by Rodgers, who deceived the public about his vaccination status, especially because the Jets’ owner, Woody Johnson, is the heir to the pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson.

The Jets quarterback was forced to sit out the game as he recovers from an Achilles injury suffered in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

Rodgers has been a famous anti-vaccine personality in sports, beginning with his “immunized” remark after testing positive for the coronavirus in the midst of the 2021 season. He then acknowledged that he had not been vaccinated and that he had a high immune response to the COVID-19 vaccination.

Rodgers and McAfee joked on the program in 2021 about having “COVID toe,” and it’s evident the two will remember it.
