In a deal with the New England Patriots, the Chargers traded up from their second and third-round picks to get the pick that was used to select Murray. Murray led the team with 14 tackles (12 of them solo) in week 13’s defeat to the New England Patriots (45-0). He also recorded his first career sack of Cam Newton that week.
