Okogie was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 20th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft on June 21, 2018. He was selected as a member of the World Team for the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge on January 29, 2019. Okogie inked a contract with the Phoenix Suns on July 2, 2022.
