Williams agreed to a contract with the New Orleans Pelicans on July 24. On October 17, 2018, Williams made his professional NBA debut in a rout of the Houston Rockets. He made his NBA G League debut on November 23 after being assigned to the Westchester Knicks during his rookie season.
