In Brazil at the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship, Christie represented the United States. Christie joined the 2022 NBA Summer League roster for the Lakers. Christie had five points and nine rebounds in his Summer League debut against the Miami Heat in the 100-66 California Classic victory. Christie signed a rookie-scale deal with the Lakers on July 8, 2022.
