American outfielder Aaron Judge plays for Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees. Judge won the 2017 American League (AL) Rookie of the Year award with a unanimous vote and came in second place for the AL Most Valuable Player Award. The Yankees selected Judge, a Fresno State Bulldogs baseball player in college, with the number 32 overall pick in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft.
Judge had a record-breaking rookie season in 2017 after making his MLB debut in 2016 and blasting a home run in his first at-bat of the league. He was selected as an All-Star, became the first MLB rookie to win the Home Run Derby, and finished the season with 52 home runs, shattering Mark McGwire’s MLB rookie record of 49 and the Yankees’ all-time rookie record of 29. Judge was awarded American League (AL) Player of the Month in May and July of 2022 in addition to winning the AL’s Player of the Month awards for June and September. Judge also won the AL’s Rookie of the Month awards for April, May, June, and September.
The Yankees selected Judge with the 32nd overall pick in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft, a pick they were awarded as restitution for losing Nick Swisher to free agency. Judge received a $1.8 million signing bonus from the Yankees when he signed with them. During a base running exercise, he tore his quadriceps femoris muscle, which prevented him from playing in the 2013 season.

High school sweethearts Aaron Judge and Bracksieck first dated intermittently as teenagers before growing apart. In 2019, they allegedly reignited their flame, and they have been going strong since then.
Before Aaron Judge graduated from high school in 2010, the couple had a sporadic relationship. Nearly ten years after graduating from high school, Aaron and Samantha apparently reconnected in 2019 and started dating seriously. After becoming engaged in 2019, the couple secretly wed in Hawaii during a short ceremony in 2021.
