American football tight end Marcedes Lewis plays for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He was a consensus All-American while playing college football for UCLA. In the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars made him their pick. Lewis played football for the UCLA Bruins from 2002 through 2005 while he was a student at UCLA. He made 32 starts for the Bruins in 49 games. He is tops among tight ends and seventh overall on the school’s career receiving list.

Lewis was a consensus first-team All-American and first-team Pacific-10 pick as a senior in 2005. He also received the John Mackey Award, which is given each year to the best tight end in college football. Lewis was a member of the 2022 class to be inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame. In the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft, Lewis was taken by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 28th overall choice.
