Giannis Antetokounmpo is a Greek professional basketball player who now plays for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. Antetokounmpo began his basketball career with Filathlitikos’ youth squads in Athens. He began playing for the club’s senior team in 2011 before being drafted 15th overall by the Bucks in the 2013 NBA draft.
He led the Bucks in all five major statistical categories in 2016–17, becoming the first player in NBA history to finish a regular season in the top 20 in each of the five categories of total points, rebounds, assists, thefts, and blocks.
