In 2002, Daniel began his career and in 2007 won the class championship. By the following year, he became the youngest racer in Mini-Stocks, a category of NASCAR Mexico. Suarez became the first Mexican to win the 2016 Xfinity Series championship. He won three Xfinity Series races and is the only foreign-born driver to win races in all three national NASCAR series.

At Sonan in 2022, Suarez won his first Cup race and earned his first playoff entry. Suarez finished P10 in the standings and turned in top-10 performances, including a career-high six top-five finishes.
