Tobias Harris is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Philadelphia 76ers. He played collegiate basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers for one season before declaring for the 2011 NBA draught, when he was selected 19th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats and then traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Harris also has experience with the Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, and Los Angeles Clippers. This is Harris’ fourth season with the Sixers. He is under contract with the Sixers till 2024.

Tobias Harris Parents and Family
Harris was born in Islip, New York, to Torrel and Lisa. His father was a basketball player at Duquesne and Murray State in college. Tyler, T.J., and Terry are his three brothers, and Tori and Tesia are his two sisters. Tyler’s collegiate basketball career came to an end at Auburn University. Terry is currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Summer League after finishing his collegiate career at North Carolina A&T State University.

Tesia, his younger sister, was a basketball player at St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Harris’ first cousin is NBA star and former teammate Channing Frye. John Mulzac, his grandpa, was a member of the Tuskegee Airmen.

Harris agreed to a five-year, $180 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, with $180 million guaranteed and an average yearly salary of $36,000,000. Harris’ base salary in 2021-22 will be $35,995,950, with a cap hit of $35,995,950 and a dead cap value of $35,995,950.
