On March 6, 2023, Jade Tristen Benning, a cherished member of the Nashville community, passed away. She left behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. Jade was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on March 6, 1998. She graduated from Little Rock Central High School, where she was a standout student in both her academic and cheerleading programs.

Jade showed incredible athleticism at an early age, beginning cheerleading at age 7. She became the captain of Central High School’s varsity and junior varsity teams as a result of her commitment to the sport. Jade followed her passion for food after cheerleading and graduated from Brightwater Culinary Arts in 2020.

Her love of food led her on a culinary adventure, where she worked as a chef at Earnest Bar & Hideaway and as head pastry chef at Mirabellas Table. She also took a stab at entrepreneurship, opening JTB Eatery, a catering company.

Everyone that Jade came into contact with was profoundly affected by her colorful personality. Jade was described as having a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up any room. Her interactions with people showed that she genuinely loved them.
Jade used to relish the little things in life.
In addition to her passion for cooking, Jade enjoyed traveling, indulging in her love of music, tattoos, and Netflix shows, but most of all, she loved spending time with her large network of friends and family.

When looking back on her life, Jade will be cherished by those who had the good fortune to know her. Her paternal grandfather Joe Browning and maternal grandma Susan Benning passed away before her.
On March 25, 2023, a memorial ceremony was conducted to celebrate her memory with love and treasured memories.
