Ian Anderson is a professional baseball player who currently pitches for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on May 2, 1998, in Clifton Park, New York, and was drafted by the Braves in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft.
Anderson made his MLB debut on August 26, 2020, against the New York Yankees. He pitched six innings, allowing only one hit and no runs while striking out six batters. This impressive debut earned him the National League Rookie of the Month award for August.
