Kai Nacua plays free safety in American football for the National Football League’s New York Jets. He was a Brigham Young University football player (BYU). On May 4, 2017, the Cleveland Browns signed Nacua as an undrafted free agent. He played in his first regular-season game as a professional during the Cleveland Browns’ 21-18 season-opening loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Baltimore Ravens picked up Nacua off waivers on May 1 of this year. The 31st of August 2018 saw his release. On September 15, 2018, he was re-signed to the practice squad. On October 15, 2018, he was released. Nacua was added to the Carolina Panthers practice squad on December 5, 2018. On August 19th, Nacua signed a contract with the Indianapolis Colts. Nacua signed with the San Francisco 49ers practice squad on November 24, 2020. The New York Jets signed Nacua off the 49ers practice squad on December 23, 2021. On December 25, 2021, he received a promotion to the active roster.

Kai was born on 3 March 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States to parents Lionel Nacua and Penina Nacua. He is very close to his parents and his parents, especially his mother, always supported him and he is very close to her. His Father died long ago.

Nacua is not the only child in the family, as have 2 brothers, Puka Nacua and Samson Nacua. Both of his brothers are also football players, as Puka plays at BYU as a wide receiver and Samson is with Indianapolis Colts.
