The Oklahoma City Thunder selected Wiggins with the 55th pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft. As the Thunder’s second-leading scorer on the squad, Wiggins had a very successful NBA Summer League, averaging 11.2 PPG. He agreed to a two-way contract with the Thunder on August 15, 2021.

He was required to spend his time between the Thunder and their Oklahoma City Blue NBA G League affiliate. The Thunder changed Wiggins’ two-way contract into a normal NBA agreement on February 12, 2022.
