Who Among The Los Angeles Lakers And The Warriors Is At Advantage?

The Los Angeles Lakers will be playing against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA play-in tournament.

The 72 game campaign has ended now and NBA is moving towards the play-in tournament. To determine the 8 playoff teams from each conference the play-in tournament will begin on May 18. The more I think about play-ins the more my mind wonders about the Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors game.

As we already know the Los Angeles Lakers had a great start for the regular season. What hit the team hard is the injuries of the main players. At first, it was Anthony Davis with Achillies injury and then it was the king LeBron James with the ankle sprain. But somehow Lakers managed its way through the regular season by onboarding Andre Drummond. However, James is back from the injury now and the Lakers gained their strength and morale back with him. If we have a look at the available players and the talent they possess nobody can term this heavily loaded team as an underdog even after the regular-season experience.

If we talk about the Golden State Warriors for me it is just a heap of hot garbage. But the only man who possesses the power to turn the tables is the greatest shooter of all-time – Stephen Curry. There are also other names on the roaster but I have not seen any of them performing extraordinarily this regular season. The team made it to the play-in only because of Steph.

For the play-in tournament the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Golden State Warriors, I don’t think anyone of the two is at advantage. The lakers can’t go smooth or slow here as the opposition is holding Stephen Curry but that does not mean the Lakers are lacking anywhere.

I believe it will be a great show and we will be witnessing LeBron James vs Stephen Curry rather than the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Warriors.
