Several sources state that if he plays 51% of the Steelers’ snaps, the Bears’ 2025 sixth-round draft selection—which they acquired from Pittsburgh—will become a 2025 fourth-round pick.

Fields has a potential to improve his reputation sufficiently that, even if he plays only backup football this season, he may be able to compete for a starting job in 2025.
