Which Local channels Are Going To Air Super Bowl 57?

The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC and advanced to the Super Bowl for the first time in five seasons. They don’t appear to be slowing down, and they look like a force to be reckoned with going into the 2023 Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs, on the other hand, seem to be struggling to head into the Super Bowl, but with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, anything is possible.

The MVP race this season was between Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, who were probably the two finest players in the NFL. This has prepared us for what should be a fantastic Bowl game between the Eagles and the Chiefs.

Which Local channels Are Going To Telecast Bowl 57?

The final match of the 2022 NFL season is Super Bowl LVII. After the Eagles easily defeated the 49ers, the Chiefs handled business in the AFC championship game to secure their trip to Arizona.

The fourth SB to be held in Arizona will take place this year, and it will be the first since the Patriots overcame the Seahawks in SB XLIX.

The Super Bowl never airs on the same channel consecutively despite being such a pillar of American culture. NBC, CBS, and Fox alternate holding the broadcast rights; ABC will shortly join the trio.

In 2023, who will broadcast the Super Bowl?

On February 12, 2023, Fox will air SB 57 as part of a cycle of three networks that will eventually grow to four. In addition to ABC joining the rotation with Super Bowl 61 in February 2021, NBC, CBS, and Fox currently alternate Super Bowl broadcasts.

SB broadcasting rights are really locked in through the 2033 season, despite being such a prized commodity. The SB 58 broadcast will be on CBS the following year, with Super Bowl 59 airing on Fox.

Below is the list of Super Bowls that have been broadcast with the rotation set by the current TV agreement.

How much does it cost to broadcast the Super Bowl?

Since the NFL does not sell individual Super Bowl broadcast rights, the price is included in what each network pays for general NFL broadcasting rights.

According to the NFL’s new broadcast agreement, CBS, Fox, and NBC collectively pay more than $2 billion to broadcast the NFL. The greatest spender is Fox ($2.2 billion), the least is NBC ($2 billion), and CBS ($2.1 billion) sits in the centre. These sums are more than twice as much as what each party paid in the previous agreement. The present agreement was reached in 2021.

Additionally, just for the “Thursday Night Football” timeslot, Amazon Prime pays $1 billion.

The NFL is making billions of dollars from its television partners as a result of all of these contracts, but the price these networks pay — aside from Amazon Prime — comes with the perk of being included in the highly sought-after Super Bowl rotation.

Who Will Be Announcing Super Bowl This Year?

There is a significant twist this year in the Bowl broadcast, just when you think you have it all figured out.

Fox will not have Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the broadcast booth for the Super Bowl for the first time in more than 20 years. Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play) and Greg Olsen (colour analyst) have replaced Buck and Aikman as Fox’s top NFL broadcast duo since they departed the network to join ESPN last spring, and both will be calling their first Super Bowl.

The last Super Bowl Fox televised, Olsen was still a player. Olsen is a veteran tight end in the NFL who played for the Panthers in Super Bowl 50. Despite receiving positive evaluations, Olsen may be demoted after Brady retires and joins the network.

Since 2013, Burkhardt has been a Fox NFL play-by-play announcer, working his way up through the ranks to take Buck’s place as the top broadcaster. Additionally, he has hosted Fox’s Major League Baseball studio.

Burkhardt will join Buck, Al Michaels, Jim Nantz, Greg Gumbel, and Pat Summerall as the Super Bowl’s sixth different play-by-play announcer since the turn of the century. When NBC hosts the 60th Super Bowl, Mike Tirico is anticipated to join the group.

What channel is the super bowl on?

Super Bowl 57 will be broadcast nationally on Fox.
