Which are the most popular NFL teams in the US? List of favored teams in each state revealed
The NFL season has begun, as seen by football fans choosing their fantasy team lineups and pulling their favorite player’s jersey from storage.
Fans will go to the stadium or turn to their screens as the race to Glendale, Arizona, and Super Bowl 57 gets underway in the hopes that their team will raise the Lombardi Trophy on February 23, 2023. Although some clubs have limited chances of winning a championship, that won’t alter the love and devotion devoted fanbases feel for their team.
But some fan groups are larger than others, and the Dallas Cowboys are without a doubt “America’s team” when it comes to being the most well-known team in the nation, at least in terms of online searches.
According to Google trends data from 2017–2022 shared in a report, the Cowboys were the most searched-for NFL club over the previous five years.
Dallas’ standing as “America’s team” going into the 2022–23 season is strengthened despite the fact that they haven’t won a Super Bowl in that period.
Here are the top 10 teams in the nation along with the most popular NFL team in each state since 2017.
49ers fans have become one of the better traveling fan bases in the league. There are a ton here but they didn't really travel. Over the years surveys show that the 49ers (and Raiders) are the most popular NFL teams in SoCal.
