AJ Dillon plays running back for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League. At Boston College, he played collegiate football. Dillon participated in all 13 games while a freshman at Boston College in 2017 and rushed for a freshman school record 1,589 yards on 300 carries with 14 touchdowns. The ACC Rookie of the Year award went to him. The Green Bay Packers selected Dillon with the 62nd overall choice in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

On July 1, 2020, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract. Dillon finished his rookie season with a total of 46 carries for 242 yards (averaging 5.3 yards per carrying) and 2 touchdowns. Dillon started the season as the backup running back after teammate Jamaal Williams left in free agency. He played in his first important game in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, helping the Packers defeat them 27-17 with 15 carries for 81 yards and one reception for 16 yards.
