Where Is Former Quarterback Andrew Luck? Stanford & More
In August, when it was revealed that Andrew Luck would be leaving the Indianapolis Colts after seven seasons, NFL fans were in disbelief. Fans want to know what the former NFL quarterback is doing now that the 2019–2020 football season is well underway.
What is Andrew Luck doing now?
Since Andrew Luck retired late in the summer, it’s unclear exactly what he’s doing, but given that he disparaged football in his retirement announcement, we have a feeling it has nothing to do with football.
“Making this choice is difficult. It’s the hardest choice I’ve ever had to make. But for me, it’s the best choice. “At that moment, he opened himself emotionally.

“This process has left me helpless. I’ve been unable to lead the life I’d like to lead. The only way for me to move on is to stop playing football since it has sapped the fun out of the game, “Added Andrew.

Perhaps the former athlete is now pursuing a degree. When asked what he would like to do after his football career, he stated, “Honestly, I believe I could be quite happy teaching high school history,” in a conversation with a Washington Post writer in March 2018.

Andrew Luck Being Awarded
Andrew Luck has now been formally recognized as an inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame following one of the greatest careers in Stanford football history.

On Monday, The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame announced his induction on ESPN. This naturally follows his remarkable career, during which he guided Stanford to 23 victories in his last two seasons and made trips in the 2011 Orange Bowl and 2012 Fiesta Bowl. He finished in second place for the Heisman Trophy twice (in 2010 and 2011), but he did win a few trophies in 2011, including the Maxwell, Walter Camp, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards.

On Saturday, which is also the day the Cardinal play, he will be recognized.
Why Did Andrew Luck Ultimately Retire?
Over the course of his NFL career, Luck experienced a number of ailments. He suffered through a significant shoulder issue that kept him out of action for the entire 2017 campaign, a concussion, an abdominal rupture, and a puzzling ankle injury in the 2019 offseason.
At the age of 29, Andrew finally decided to retire from the sport due to all of his wounds, which included an ankle, rib, and shoulder ailment.
But Andrew wants everyone to know that he’ll forever be grateful for his seven seasons with the team. “My wife and I are so proud when people ask us where we’re from. We say Indianapolis… I want to thank football for so many moments in my life,” he shared. “It’s the greatest team sport in the world.”
Will Andrew Luck Return To The NFL?
It appears extremely improbable that Luck, at least as a player, will ever return to the NFL.
In February 2021, Colts owner Jim Irsay was questioned regarding a potential Luck comeback. Irsay threw cold water on the such concept at the moment.

Over the past three years, Luck has generally avoided the spotlight and hasn’t indicated that he wants to play football again. The 32-year-old is not expected to play in the NFL again at any point, according to the Colts.
