“We’re Not an Underdog to Anybody”- Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Hits Out at Betting Lines Ahead of Bills Clash
It has been a pretty good season for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals so far. The season started horribly for Joe Burrow and co as they lost three of their first five games. However, things started to pick up as the season went on and the team started to gel well together considering there were a number of new additions.

The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t lost since falling to the Browns on Halloween, winning nine straight games. This was enough to get them a spot in the playoffs but not the top seed, which means they had to overcome the Baltimore Ravens to set up a game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The week 17 clash between the two teams ended up in tragedy after Damar Hamlin’s near-fatal accident. Given that the two teams have already prepared for and played each other it will be interesting to see how the second game shapes up.
Zac Taylor backs the Cincinnati Bengals
Leading up to the game against the Bills, the oddsmakers aren’t really convinced by last year’s conference champions. Buffalo is a five-point favorite over Cincinnati Bengals for the divisional-round matchup.

However, head coach Zac Taylor does not really see it the same way. In a recent press conference, he said, “We know that we’re the defending AFC Champions. So, there’s an edge to this team where we’re not an underdog to anybody. And so, I think that’s just been the feeling we’ve had all season. We don’t really care what anybody else says about us. We know we belong in the field with every team in this league.”

When asked about facing the Bills in such a short period of time he said, “We just did this with Baltimore, playing them back-to-back weeks. It is a little bit unusual the way that the season has unfolded for us in the last four weeks in terms of playing two opponents over the last 28 days. Our guys have handled it well. … They understand the process we follow each week and they’ve done a good job handling it all.”
