Glen “Big Baby” Davis, a former NBA player, doesn’t seem to be getting into the Victor Wembanyama hype for the San Antonio Spurs.

When describing how he would have performed against the No. 1 choice in 2023 during his playing days, Davis compared Wembanyama to a young giraffe.

“The length I probably would have struggled with, but the body? Tomato chest,” Davis told Washington Post reporter Ben Golliver.

“They soft. That boy looked like a little baby Bambi out there the other night, you know what I’m saying? A little baby giraffe walking around. I don’t think he could handle all this pain, you know? I definitely would’ve used my body against that boy.”

The French colossus averaged 27 minutes per game in his two NBA Summer League games, scoring 18 points (on 41% of his field goal attempts), 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
