“Wembamania”: After NBA, Victor Wembanyama Has Already Won Over French Fans as he Prepares For 2023 Draft
The best NBA prospect since LeBron James is arguably Victor Wembanyama. He is a towering 7-foot-4 and doesn’t even have to move from his position to change shots since his 8-foot wingspan allows him to block jumpers and nudge the ball away from potential attackers. After just 54 seconds, Victor Wembanyama scored his team’s first points. He then raised his arms after contributing to the game’s final score with a pass that nearly covered the entire court.
Everyone wants to see the 18-year-old prodigy widely anticipated to become an NBA great as “Wembamania” sweeps France. The French center is not just one of the most anticipated players the NBA has seen in a very long time, but he is also expected to be the first choice in the 2023 NBA Draft.
