Watch:- New York Jets’ Sauce Gardner Trolls Green Bay Packers Fans After Securing a Dominant Win in Game Week Six

In the 2022 NFL draft, the New York Jets selected Sauce Gardner as their first pick and the fourth overall pick. The Cornerback out of Cincinnati was a highly touted player with a lot of teams with their eyes on them. His performances in the first six game weeks of this season show exactly why Gardner was in such high demand.

In his most recent outing, Gardener faced Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers and it is safe to say he had an exceptionally good performance. The Jets cornerback locked down Packers receivers in the secondary as the New York defense anchored a 27-10 win at Lambeau Field.

After the win, the rookie found a cheese head, an iconic sign of Packers fandom, and wore it while celebrating with the Jets fans. This did not sit well with the Packers fan as well as Allen Lazard, who ran into Gardner in the tunnel and knocked the prop off his head.

Lazard was on the receiving end of Gardner’s display in defense. The fourth overall pick in the draft knocked away an Aaron Rodgers pass to Lazard late in Green Bay’s failed comeback effort. The win moves the Jets to a record of 4-2 so far this season. The Jets’ defense is relatively young and inexperience but they’re quickly establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

Sauce Gardner and co hand the Green Bay Packers another alarming defeat

The Green Bay Packers are struggling from an offensive point of view. During their game against the Jets, the Packers were booed constantly at Lambeau Field. The Packers have scored 107 points (or 17.8 per game) so far this season. That’s their fewest in any six-game span with Rodgers as their starting quarterback.

After the loss, Rodgers shared his thoughts on how this situation can be fixed. He said, “I’m not attacking anything. I just think that based on how we’ve played the last two weeks, I think it’s going to be in our best interests to simplify things for everybody. For the line, for the backs, for the receivers, especially with [Randall Cobb’s] injury. Just simplify some things, and maybe that’ll help us get back on track.”
