Watch: Malik Monk Falls On A Fan Courside And Does The Weirdest Thing Next

In a match that will be remembered for being the Golden State Warriors’ eighth straight loss and for Malik Monk’s peculiar actions, the Sacramento Kings defeated them 122-115.

After receiving a block, the King’s point guard ran into a bystander before rebounding back into the court.

It didn’t take long for the photo of Monk returning to the court looking as if he had been shoved out of the crowd and for it to receive a lot of attention on social media.

He was spotted speaking to the supporter as he was helped to his feet by his colleagues before rushing back to his position. It is unclear why he would exaggerate the contact with the spectator in that fashion.

Monk did, however, contribute 12 points, one rebound, and four assists to the Kings’ victory.

Once the focus has shifted away from Monk and his antics, it is likely to focus on the Golden State Warriors’ appalling play. They have had a really difficult season thus far, often losing games that they would be considered favourites to win.

This season, they have won five of the games and lost eight. They would have anticipated being much higher than where they are currently, which is in the middle of the standings.
