For several seasons, Jalen Ramsey and Metcalf had traded insults, and earlier in this game, Metcalf was flagged for a roughness penalty after the play was ended. During the same drive, Metcalf teased Ramsey and urged him to follow him as he moved across the field.

The Rams-Seahawks game on Sunday at SoFi Stadium included a daylong altercation between Jalen Ramsey and D.K. Metcalf.

The WR-CB duel became so fierce that Metcalf once motioned for Jalen Ramsey to follow him to the opposite side of the field before the snap.

During the third quarter, Metcalf moved to the opposite side of the formation at that same moment. Metcalf turned to Ramsey as he started to move and instructed him to follow.

Ramsey didn’t!

Jalen Ramsey wasn’t moving with him, but Metcalf caught his teammate Derion Kendrick instead.

Metcalf scored the winning touchdown and finished with 8 catches for 127 yards. Although not all of those catches were made by Ramsey, DK made the most significant catch of the Seahawks’ entire season.
