Washington Commanders’ Brian Robinson Makes a Miraculous Return to Training Three Weeks After Being Shot on His Leg
Injury is a part of football and often times we have seen athletes make a comeback after suffering potentially career-ending injuries. It takes a lot of willpower, hard work, dedication, and discipline to make a comeback. However, in Brian Robinson Jr’s case, it took a lot more than that.
Robinson was rated a four-star recruit out of school. The University of Alabama, where he further honed his skills as a running back, picked him up as a freshman. For most people, getting to the NFL is a dream that they dedicate their whole life toward and very few are actually able to realize it. Unfortunately for Robinson, tragedy struck even before he could run his first yard on a football pitch in a regular season game.

On August 28th, Robinson was a victim of an armed robbery. He was shot multiple times in his lower body. Thankfully, the injuries were not life-threatening, and he was immediately given medical attention. Now, just three weeks from his accident, Robinson was spotted taking part in one-on-one drills. At this point in time, Brain Robinson is still four weeks out from being fully fit enough to start a game. His first game in the NFL could potentially come on Oct. 9, when the Commanders host the Titans.
