Was Mike McDaniel Actually Vaping On Sideline Of Bills-Dolphins Game?
In the wake of the Dolphins’ 34-31 playoff loss to the Bills, Mike McDaniel is being questioned about a variety of factors, not all of them have to do with how he handled the clock.
One of them spoke specifically about what he was doing on the bench when the CBS cameras focused on his face during the game.
McDaniel was photographed by the broadcast team with his hands covering his lips. Some viewers said McDaniel appeared to be hiding a vape pen in his palm and taking a “rip” as the cameras went away.

Was Mike McDaniel Actually Vaping On Sideline Of the Bills-Dolphins Game?
It won’t help that Mike McDaniel will be criticised for the Dolphins’ terrible clock management during their playoff loss to the Bills.

The Dolphins’ fourth and feet, which had been a trend for the Dolphins’ offence all day, was turned into a fourth and six with Miami trailing by three points and perhaps only having time for one more drive.
Since the play was unsuccessful, the game was effectively won by a turnover on downs.

With the rookie head coach vaping on the sidelines in the middle of the game, perhaps McDaniels was a little slow in calling plays.
Naturally, this sparked a tonne of rumours on social media that McDaniel was actually vaping throughout the pivotal playoff game for the Dolphins. NFL fans laughed a lot and expressed shock as a result of that.

Having said that, it’s possible that McDaniel wasn’t vaping in the stands. Another equally logical argument explains why McDaniel would be placed in that position during the game.
In order to keep his hands warm, he began blowing into them.
Was the @MiamiDolphins play calls delayed due to Mike McDaniel vaping???
That would explain why the @BuffaloBills won this game #NFL #FinsUp #BillsMafia #SuperWildCardWeekend pic.twitter.com/Nj7xbemd7Q

Throughout the game on Sunday, the temperature in Buffalo never rose beyond 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Despite playing college football at Yale, McDaniel has coached in Miami, San Francisco, and Atlanta since 2014. As a result, he isn’t particularly accustomed to cooler weather.
Therefore, it is conceivable that McDaniel was simply trying to keep his hands warm on a chilly day.

It is important to note that Highmark Stadium is a smoke-free area and that vaping is not permitted there.
In any case, it’s impossible to pinpoint McDaniel’s specific actions at that precise second. If he doesn’t address it at the Dolphins’ end-of-season media availability, this mystery will continue to exist because he wasn’t questioned about vaping during his postgame news conference.
