Warriors Draymond Green Intentionally Cuts Out Jordan Poole’s Name In The Post Game Conference

Prior to the current regular season, Jordan Poole and Draymond Green notoriously got into a fight during practice. And as you might remember, it wasn’t exactly a beautiful one. If you want to watch the commotion again, Rising Highlights has put a clip to YouTube.

Naturally, this occurred a very long time ago. And sure, they have subsequently played together. On the other hand, there has been apparent friction between the two players for some time. It seemed to have finally reached its boiling point. Just take a moment to hear Draymond Green’s quotes from the tweet sent forth by the “Depressed Warriors fan.”

Warriors Draymond Green Intentionally Cuts Our Jordan Poole’s Name In The Post Game Conference

On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors were outmatched late against the Los Angeles Lakers, losing 104-101 in Game Four and jeopardizing their season.

Due to poor communication, the Warriors turned the ball over several times late in the game, gave the Lakers relatively easy jumpers, fouled their leading scorers, and saw Steph Curry and Klay Thompson miss numerous hotly contested attempts with the game on the line.

The loss was everyone’s mistake but Green decided to silently taunt Jordan Poole.

“Klay (Thompson) will play better, I have no doubt in my mind. Steph(en Curry) had an incredible game, expect more of the same, or even more from him. And everybody else will play great. Moses Moddy has been giving us great minutes, Donte (DiVincenzo) gave us great minutes last night, GP (Gary Payton) gave great minutes, Loon (Kevon Looney) is in there, he is giving great minutes, Wiggs (Andrew Wiggins) was aggressive, like listen, I’m living with it. We just didn’t make the plays we need to make down the stretch to win the game.”

Observe how Draymond Green essentially cited every Warriors player for this series, with the exception of one. There are no awards for figuring out which name that is.

Of course, there is a hidden conflict going on here. In fact, we question if Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are repeating their error with Kevin Durant.

Poole’s postseason statistics have fallen to 10.5 points per game on 34.2 percent field goal shooting and 27.8 percent three-point shooting after averaging 20.4 points per game during the regular season.

In the locker room after Golden State’s defeat in Game 4, according to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Kerith Burke, a disgruntled Poole addressed questions from reporters while facing away from them, responding with statements like “I don’t know” and “if I knew, I would tell you.”
