WAGs Life Is Not What We Think. Here’s Tommy Paul’s Partner, Paige Lorenze’s View On Her Difficulties

Paige Lorenze, a model and businesswoman, has “made so many special connections” while touring the world with her boyfriend, American tennis player Tommy Paul.

The internet sensation, who will be supporting Paul at the 2023 U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, where he will play Italian Stefano Travaglia in the first round on Monday, is especially appreciative of the friendships she has forged within the tennis world, particularly with other professional athletes’ partners.

“So many of the wives and girlfriends have been so warm and welcoming to me. I have made some amazing girlfriends in a short period of time while being on tour with Tommy and it’s really nice to feel like we have our own little support group,” Recently, Lorenze recently told The Post.

“We are always texting each other when our partners do well or have amazing results and we are all just genuinely happy for each other. I have such admiration for the wives and girlfriends of other players because I know what it’s like now — and it’s not always easy.

“I also think it’s nice that we can kind of make the (players) feel at home on the road. They really do not have an off season like other sports, so it’s a ton of sacrifice for them (and the wives and girlfriends). It truly takes a team, so I admire all the other girls on tour in that aspect honestly.”

Lorenze is eager to attend the US Open again because last year was her first time attending a competition to cheer on the world No. 14.

“I didn’t know much about the sport or what it took,” she said. “That said, this year will be even more special for me. I have seen a year of Tommy’s hard work and sacrifice and to come back full circle is a really special moment.”

Last year, Paul advanced to the third round of the US Open before falling to eventual tournament runner-up Casper Ruud of Norway. For Lorenze, the creator of the clothing and accessory brand Dairy Boy, which has close to 50,000 Instagram followers, this season has been unusually hectic.
Earlier this week, Lorenze hosted a pop-up event in New York to mark the debut of the denim line for her brand. At the core of Dairy Boy is Lorenze’s connection to New England, where she skied growing up, as well as her love for horses, farms, and “the simple pleasures in life,” all of which were inspired by her roots in the Northeast.

I know I am who I am because of the way I grew up, being adventurous and getting outside and becoming aligned with nature,” she said.
With a bright future ahead of her, Lorenze couldn’t have asked for a more encouraging companion than Paul.“Being in the public eye isn’t always easy, but my community never fails to make me feel loved and supported and that is what I focus on,” According to Lorenze, who selects home décor items for Dairy Boy including candles, bed linens, and cosmetic bags.

“It is also helpful that Tommy is my biggest supporter and is always cheering me on wherever we are, he is someone I go to for advice often about everything.”
