Viral Video: A Man Saves A Zookeeper From An Alligator Attack

When an alligator attacked the party host’s fingers and dragged her into its enclosure, the kids’ birthday celebration at a Utah reptile park turned into a horrific nightmare. The handler’s hand was, however, rescued from the reptile’s jaws by a courageous man. The horrifying footage was recorded and is already going viral.

Over 48.5 million people have watched a TikTok video about a possibly fatal alligator incident that happened on June 5. In the video, there is a caption that says, “Guest saved alligator handler at the zoo.”

The alligator drags the handler toward the water in the video after grabbing her hand during feeding, and once in the water, the animal violently barrel rolls.

When the handler slips her hand under the chin of the alligator, it appears like it is getting a bit too close for comfort. She moves it softly away from her. The alligator bends its head as she lowers her hand and fangs onto her left arm.

The alligator had other plans despite the handler’s best efforts to stay calm. The woman is pulled into the water by it as it begins to tug on her arm. The alligator then begins to turn over in death.

When zoo visitors who were observing the feeding see that something is amiss, one of them yells out, “We’ve got a problem over here,” in an effort to gain the attention of other staff members.

Until the handler is eventually able to release her arm, the visitor keeps the alligator restrained. She is then helped out of the water by another visitor. The brave visitor keeps battling the alligator until he is able to sit up and escape on his own.

Users of TikTok praised the man’s bravery in the comments section for putting himself in danger without thinking twice to aid the alligator wrangler.

One user commented, “Wow, that man was at the right place at the right time.” And another adds: “That’s a hero, right there!” in agreement.
