VIDEO: Buffalo Bills Fans Spotted Throwing Snowballs at Players That Could Have Led to a 15-Yard Penalty

It was over 90 degrees for the opening game between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. This one has snow and is in the 20s. As the snow began to fall, the Bills became more heated. Buffalo scored the game’s last 11 points, including the decisive drive that gave them the victory with no time remaining.

For the fourth year in a row, Buffalo, which has won five straight games, will participate in the playoffs. Josh Allen led the club with 77 running yards on only 10 runs, finishing 25 of 40 for 304 yards and four touchdowns.

Well, snowballs were thrown onto the field during play by NFL fans at the Miami Dolphins-Buffalo Bills game in Orchard Park, NY, on Saturday night. During the second quarter, the game was briefly stopped to deter spectators from hurling snowballs onto the pitch.

Buffalo Bills warned with a 15-yard penalty as fans threw snowballs on Tyreek Hill

The players blasted the snowballs back into the crowd after the Bills reclaimed the lead in the first quarter as the crowd threw snowballs in jubilation following the score.

“Please stop throwing snowballs. We’ve just been informed that if a snowball hits someone, it’ll be a 15-yard penalty against Buffalo.”

The stadium staff and public address announcer have repeatedly implored spectators not to hurl snowballs at the field of play, even going so far as to warn that the Bills will get a 15-yard penalty if a snowball touches a player.

 

In order to stop the Dolphins from entering the end zone and to celebrate running back Nyheim Hines’ score for the Bills in the second quarter, spectators tossed snowballs in that direction.
