The Indianapolis Colts selected Anthony Richardson fourth overall in this year’s drafting, and he appears to be the team’s future franchise quarterback. Richardson had already made an impression at the University of Florida with his agility.
Fans now have yet another reason to like the rookie quarterback as the quarterback dropped a rap video that quickly gained popularity.

Gainsville’s Own, the stage name of Anthony Richardson, is a rapper. Richardson, a Gainsville native who chose to represent the Gators in college football, initially saw little action.
The quarterback, though, started for the Gators in his junior year. With that chance, he took full advantage and threw for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. He carried for 654 yards and nine scores on the ground.

His stock standing skyrocketed as a result of his impressive showing at the NFL combine. He has the fourth-fastest 40-yard sprint time among quarterbacks since 2000 (4.43 seconds).

Richardson also had a 10 3/4-foot broad jump and a 40.5-inch vertical leap. The Indianapolis Colts ended up selecting him as a result, making him the third quarterback selected by the team in the top five since 1998.

On Tuesday, Shane Steichen named Anthony Richardson, a rookie, the Colts’ starting quarterback.
Since the Colts selected Richardson in the draft, they have made it obvious that they want him to play as a rookie to aid with his growth. To that aim, eliminating the appearance of a game right away will enable Indianapolis to concentrate only on making Richardson game-ready.
Richardson and quarterback Gardner Minshew had been alternating time with the first team.
On September 10, Richardson will face the Jaguars at home in Week 1.
